First Veep, ICT Minister visit ELECOMP Expo, meet digital economy, tech firms
The First Vice President Mohammad-Reza Aref and the Minister of Information and Communications Technology Seyed Sattar Hashemi inspected digital economy capabilities in meetings with technology sector stakeholders.

They visited the 29th International ELECOMP Exhibition during which Aref and Hashemi reviewed the latest achievements, capabilities, and products of public and private sector companies participating in the event.

They first toured the Government Pavilion in Hall 27 of the Tehran International Permanent Fairground and were briefed on the latest initiatives and services showcased by the government agencies.

 

E-Government, Digital Services

The Government Pavilion at the 29th International ELECOMP Exhibition provides a venue for presenting a section of the services, achievements, and capabilities of government agencies in information technology, smart government, and digital transformation.

The First Vice President and ICT Minister also toured booths representing government agencies, becoming acquainted with a number of the services and projects on display.

Hashemi opened the 29th International ELECOMP Exhibition on Monday, bringing together government agencies, private companies, knowledge-based companies, startups, and other participants in Iran’s technology and digital economy ecosystem.

 

Private Sector, Tech Companies

Aref and Hashemi subsequently visited exhibition halls housing private-sector companies and technology-sector representatives, including technology and knowledge-based firms.

The participating companies presented their latest products, services, and solutions in various fields, including information and communications technology, the digital economy, artificial intelligence, digital services, and areas related to Iran’s technology ecosystem.

During the visit, the First Vice President and ICT Minister spoke with company executives and experts and reviewed their technical capabilities, products and solutions, as well as their potential to expand into new markets and contribute to the country’s digital economy.

 

ELECOMP Links Public and Private Sectors

The joint visit provided an opportunity to take a closer look at the capabilities of the government and private sectors in technology and the digital economy, while becoming acquainted with the latest achievements of the ecosystem.
