The Minister of Information and Communications Technology Seyed Sattar Hashemi has sent a message congratulating Mehrdad Akhlaghi Ketabchi on his appointment as Minister of Defense and Armed Forces Support and on joining President Masoud Pezeshkian’s administration.

“Dear Brother, His Excellency
Engineer Mehrdad Akhlaghi Ketabchi,
Minister of Defense and Armed
Forces Support,
As-salamu Alaykum,
I would like to sincerely
congratulate you on your nomination by the honorable President, the vote of
confidence granted by the respected representatives of the Islamic Consultative
Assembly (Parliament) for your appointment to the important position of Minister
of Defense and Armed Forces Support, and your joining the cabinet of the 14th administration.
Undoubtedly, safeguarding the
country’s defensive capabilities and strengthening the foundations of
deterrence, through reliance on knowledge, innovation, and the intelligent
utilization of scientific and technological capacities, play a fundamental role
in protecting Iran’s national security and vital interests.
